When can I legaly move out?

I know a lot of people ask this but its still not all that clear to me… When can I move out? I live in san antonio texas and all my friends and my aunt says I can move out when im 17 (in six months) sure I can move out but do I have to have my parents permission, because there is no way they will let me go. And I dont want to wait another fu**ing year. So I guess is what im really asking is… Do they have the power to stop me?

they do but they don’t… call legal aid and talk to them about getting emancepated… then they can’t stop you and you will be declared a legal adult…

why? I was on my own since I was 16 and no one stopped me. your parents have no right to say whether you stay or go? Well, they can kick you out, sure…but they can’t FORCE you to stay. by 16 I had my own money I got a room mate and we rente the top floor of a house and I moved out. my parenst flipped out and gave me hell but they couldn’t do anything. they called the cops and said I ran away but when the cops came up to me I laughed and said I moved in with a friend so my parents wer the ones in trouble for filing a false report

TO MOVE OUT OF YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIAN’S HOUSE AT 17 YOU MUST! BE EMANCIPATED FROM THEM…
