I heard 3 months.. and then I heard six months… they shoulda told you when you got it done.

Answer #2

you gotta wait like a month, maybee a litlle more, but its somewhere around there!;)

Answer #3

its more then a month hun trust me I’ve had mine for two months and I still cant change mine

Answer #4

I had mine done a week ago..underneath is kinda sore when I push it up..but other than that its pretty painless…if the swelling has gone down and theres practically no pain you should go to your piercer and ask them to change it they will tell you if you are ready…my piercer told me about 8-10 days…tongue piercings affect different people…I had almost no swellin so im going to get mine changed tomorrow…good luck x

Answer #5

Call the place you got it pierced at and double check with them.

Answer #7

at the very least 3 months because thats the amount of time pretty much every peircing needs to heal any sooner than that and you will prolong its healing time and most likley get an infection and anyone who tells you a rediculouse time like 1 week is an idiot you need to wait at around 3 months

Answer #8

Ok um, first of all, you should have got it pierced with a long bar, you should be able to change that within 2 weeks. My mums a body piercer and I’ve had my tongue done twice so I know. The tongue is the fastest healing piercing because its in your mouth, usually other piercings can take up to 3 months to heal but I and my mum says, that the tongue should take a minimum of 2 weeks to heal and a maximum of 6 weeks.
