What's a good activity to do, at home, while under stress?
My house is really stressful. And I want to have something where I can just.. getaway. I don’t have a car, Im not old enough yet. Cant go anywhere by myself because its not a safe area at all. Cant talk to anyone here. I usually clean to burn off anger and steam, but its just not doing it for me lately. I cant just camp out in my room either cause it wont do anything. Can’t exercise either. I need something that I can do often. Any ideas? Thanks..
read. write a book. grow a garden. cook. learn a new language.

Write. Learn a new hobby (guitar, photo editing, photography, etc). Dancing (turn up the music and dance your heartout without worrrying about what you look like). Reading (some people feel they can “escape” by reading a book). Talking to a friend to help vent it all out. Start a blog to help release all the stress and get it all out.
Try find out something of wat u into try to know u self and wat exactly wat u body n soul needs n ull feel okay
Journal your feelings about the stress. You can always write whatever you’d like to get out of your system and destroy the paper afterward (if it’s something you don’t want anyone to see or you think you went overboard in writing it). The beauty of journaling is you can write anything and nobody but you and your God sees it. Infact if you believe in a God it could be a letter addressing God on what is stressing you and how you feel about it. Some people even put them in what they call a “God Box”. There’s also stress relief in getting out of yourself, by volunteering time to those less fortunate. Sometimes hearing other’s problems, makes our own seem less significant.
Writing about what is stressing you, allows you to process all your emotions. Rereading it can someitmes give you perspective and answers you couldn’t see as apparently, if you didn’t see it unfold on paper.
Ive done this before too, but thanks (: I dont write it to God or anyone in specific though, I just write it however it comes to me.
What about tapping into your creative side….painting, drawing, crochet, writing a book, etc. ?
Well if I’m under stress I usually play video games.. Gets my mind off things. I also listen to music or take a warm shower or bath. Maybe you just need to find what works best for you… You could read, draw, write.. Just depends what your into.
