What to do when everyone knows your preg but the dad dosent want it

So.. I found out I was pregnant and I knew the father didnt want it but I told people I was keeping it, now im thinking differently and know I will be better off with out it for now and me and the dad can still be friends. but if I go for an abortion how do I tell everyone? or lie and tell them I had a misscarrige?

Answer #1

Well… personally… I would… Well, I have no idea. You should really speak with your parents, friends, religious leaders [if you have any], couselors, and physicians with expertise in the area. I would also research the alternatives such as keeping the baby or adoptions. And of course research the risks of having an abortion… emotional & physical risks.

hi, I am 19 years old and I have a 2 year old son. when I found out I was pregnant at 16/17 I was shocked, I cried for about a day or 2 and talked to a few friends. I was thinking of getting a abortion without anyone finding out I was pregnant until my mom found out and talked me out of it. my mother had me at age 15 and loved me ever since. as I was pregnant, I kept thinking of what my boyfriends(the father) family was saying to me and didnt really want me to have him. but now, I am very proud to be a mother, and thinking it over, if I had a abortion, I would be very upset for a long time! I also think, abortion to me now is calling it murder. but this is oppitional to you. my son turns 2 on the 26, me and the father are both very proud parents! I hope I helped you out somewhat!
