What to do: stretch marks and swimming?

Okay, well first off I am 14 years old and I have stretch marks on my upper thighs and sides. I am NOT fat, as I only weigh 117 pounds. I talked to my mom about the stretch marks and she told me that you can get them from growing or having sudden growth spurts. So, I guess that’s how I got mine. I try to ignore them, but it’s the first thing I notice when I take off my clothes. It’s embarrassing as crap and NONE of my friends have them. So what should I do? My aunt wants me to go swimming with her tomorrow, but I am not comfortable in a bathing suit with these stretch marks. Here what I need to know:

  1. How to cover them up while swimming. 2.How to get rid of them (I know, I know, you can’t get rid of them, you can only make them less visible) 3.Do you think it’s okay for someone as young as me to have them? 4.I need information on getting them lasered off or surgically removed. Please and Thank you!!!

I understand your frustration! It really isn’t anything about your weight whatsoever considering I’m 16 5’7 and 94 lbs lol. I think it’s genetics because I have them on my lower stomach and it is very embarrassing!

  1. I always wear basketball shorts over my bikini. It gets a lot of guys attention actually. Leaves a lot to the imagination ;)
  2. There are a lot of cremes out there that do actually get rid of them. Google is your friend. I forgot what I used but it was just an oil type thing and they eventually faded and now theyre not all that noticeable.
  3. It’s fine to have them. Theres really no specific age that people get them. Some people get wrinkles on their face really young. Same idea. People mature differently.
  4. I wouldn’t worry about getting surgery because your body is going to change more over the next few years, and it would most likely just undo the surgery. Right now, have fun swimming and don’t worry about your body. If you are confident, nobody will notice, darlin!

OMG DONT RUIN YOUR LIFE BY HAVING SURGERY! Use Bio Oil it helps gte rid of stretch marks its brilliant it looks abit like the pic attached you can get it from the chemist if you ask.

Stretch marks come when you’re skinny or short and you grow rapidly. So it’s not always because of fatness.
