What should I do about this kid I REALLY like...pls pls PLS answer?

Ok so last month, I asked this kid Mike who I’ve liked for about 2 years out. He said,Yea sure I guess so.I was really happy and I told only 2 of my boyfriend’s. One of them (jen) is actually friends with Mike and said she was gonna tease him bout it. I laughed and told her not to blow it 4 me…or there would be blood lol. On the bus ride home, she said she was mad at me and that I lied and that Mike said maybe. I felt really humiliated. I kinda got over it. Jen was also gonna have a Halloween party and invite him. She asked him and he wasn’t sure yet. And one of Jen’s friends Gabi, ran up to them and said…OHH but Danielle will be there. as soon as she said that, he said he wasn’t going. I felt even worse. And Jen told me that Gabi heard her ask MIke bout me and she told like 10 people that I asked him. We had made eye contact a few times and he would quickly turn around an walk away quickly. And then…I was on fb and this girl goes did you ask Mike out? I asked her how she found out and then she said that he told her and another girl. I was shocked and said that I did. She said she was gonna ask him out. (l8er I found out he said no) And then I talked to the other girl he told. She said that she asked him if he was gonna say yes and he said that we have a lot in common but we never see each otha. I said ok and thanks. Mike has said hi to me a lot and he always looks at me. I recently told my friend that I was thinking bout asking him to a big dance that the school was havin later. She made a face and said that he told her that he never liked me an thta he liked someone else. I pretended not to be hurt…but you know. And Jen told me that she liked Mike a lot and when she found out I liked him, she stopped…UGHH what should I do? Should I ask him to the dance? and he doesn’t have a cell or a social site or anything!!! He isn;t on my team so I have no chance of explaining to him that I didn’t tell the world that I asked him. PLS HELP!!! Thanks sry it’s sooo long.
