There is no need to seek a girlfriend at your school. Sometimes being around someone all the time can create strain on relationships. When you like somebody, there is no need to turn away on the basis that a relationship with someone else could be easier. If you can put the effort in to see this person, then there is no need to ignore the way you feel and seek something simpler. Go with your heart and hopefully all will turn out for the best :).
