How can I help my territorial cats?

I understand that they are territorial, im wondering if you have any suggestions, some people say that spraying them with a water gun help, that just makes it worse, another thing was an airhorn everytime they hissed, to do that, and it didnt work…i guess we will have to wait til they get over it like we did last time…thankyou

Answer #1

time and patience are factors… you cannot train a cat in the same fashiion that you train a dog… The cats are asserting their territoriality, which is normal. In time, things should calm down and then a sense of normalcy should settle in. Hang in there.. like raising a couple of rowdy kids! :)

Answer #2

What kind of animal are you talking about?

Answer #3

make sure they are neutured or spayed… between them they will work out their own pecking order, the more cats there are the more problems there can be, but they will work it out between themselves.
