Should I move out if I'll lose my Mom for good?

So heres my situation. Me and my mother dont get along at all. We never have and probably never will. She goes through these periods where we’ll get along for a couple a weeks, then she acts as if I dont excist the next couple. during these periods she tends to say extremely hurtful things to me always bashing my character. I go through depression quite often because of this and I’m at the breaking point. My mother has always told me that if it wasn’t for my father I would’ve been out the house along time ago. I never did because I had nowhere to go, but now I do. I’m really considering moving in with my boyfriend this summer who has his own place through the military a couple states over. I know if I do this finatially I would be stable and would still be able to continue on with college, but I do take a huge chance of loosing my mother for good, and despite of how she treats me I love her to death. I really dont know what to do. My mother strongly believes that you dont move in with a man until you marry him. Me and my boyfriend do plan on getting married but not for a couple more years.

Let me just say, I highly doubt you’ll lose your mother forever over this. My mother was raised Catholic, and as much as I thought she’d completely disown me if I left home to live with my partner, my mother always told me “No matter how much I disagree with how you choose to live your life, there will always be a room available to you here at home.” She isn’t 100% happy that we’re unmarried and living together, but she accepts that it’s my choice to make.

Times may be tough with your mother, (They always are when you’re turning into an adult and finding your independence), but the reality is, she will never stop loving you. It’s your life, and you need to make your decisions.
