What's the next step to take with him?

okay so im still interested in this guy at work, we were dating and fell off for some minor complicated problems and he stopped talking to me for awhile. its been 4 months since the separation. he was talking to a mutual friend and she told him that I still like him so now he is talking to me again. he is now finally returning my calls instead of ignoring me and giving me one on one time at work. I bought him and his daughter an easter gift the other day. I bought him some cologne and he asked me if I liked it and put his neck up to my nose and winks at me. I really want to start seeing him again but he seems like he wants to take things slow again. how do I know what he wants and what is the next step I should take? also does he really like me or is he just stroking his ego?

It sounds as if he still likes you. I would take things slow but it sounds as if he has made his mind about you and wants to give it another shot. I’d say give it a shot.
