What... My mom won't let me get a cell phone?

Well maybe shes not financially stable enough to get one at the moment. Probably not but maybe she doesnt think your responsible enough!!! I don’t know just throwing things out in the open!

Agreed with ichi. If you act responsibly with your money and show her you are able to pay all the bills on time without her having to shell out any cash to pay for your texts or data plan, then I’m sure her fears will be calmed.

Well, you don’t need one, but if you’re willing and able to purchase it and pay the bill yourself, then perhaps you can make some sort of deal with her…tell her you’ll be willing to do some extra chores, or something else that shows responsibility.

Go to Radioshack, buy and activate a Virgin Mobile phone. You only need to be 13 to activate.

Go up to your mum and say ‘’hey mum can I get a mobile just in case of an emergency because I go out a lot and I want to stay in contact with you all the time just in case you know’’ I havent tried this so tell me how it went ok. I hope it does work and if your 15 you should actually have a phone already anyway.It helps more if you do sporting like soccer because you travel around and stuff.Hope you get something out of my message best of luck.
