What is Xanax used for?

Anxiety and panic disorders you say. Hmm is it possible to use those as a sleep aid or something to that sort? Because as far as I know she uses those to sleep. I do find it a little odd that she takes Xanax rather than Ambien or something like that to sleep..

It does make sense that it helps her sleep, because if you are anxious it is very hard to fall asleep. So maybe it is solving to problems at the same time.

Perhaps she isn’t really having them because like you said Strokes and seizures aren’t side effects of them and I didn’t see anything about strokes or seizures mentioned on that page you linked me either. Yes of course withdrawal symptoms! It makes sense now. Sometimes she has to go 2 or 3 weeks without her xanax because she doesn’t always have money for it causing her seizures and strokes. Perhaps I should have her see a doctor about this before something worse happens..
