Who knows if layered hair grows slower than non-layered?

Is it true that layered hair grows slower then none-layered hair,cause I have short,shoulder length hair and will it grow slower cause its layered?

I have short layered hair, and it seems like it hasnt grown in forever, but I know its normal because I have my hair dyed and I can see my roots. so its definitely growing at the same pace.

Hair grows from the root, not the tip, and is essentially dead as soon as it exits the skin. So no matter what you do to the ends, the root is still going to grow at the same rate. The living follicle under the skin has no idea what you’re doing to its ends.

You could take vitamins for hair growth like Reloxe and Nioxin.

It depends on the hair type. Some people grows their fast and some grows slow. Just use vitamins that promote hair growth.
