Will gel make my hair grow slower?

WILL HAIR GEL SLOW DOWN YOUR HAIR GROWTH. MY NEW HAIR CUT FLIPS BADLY SO I NEED GEL UNTIL IT GROWS BACK, BUT WILL THE GEL CAUSE IT TO TAKE LONGER.

SINGLE AGAIN AND SPORTING A BAD HAIR CUT SOMEONE HELP. LOL

Hair gel won’t slow it down.. but it’ll make it more prone to damage and build up making it unhealthy.
