What gets rid of acne for people with sensative skin?

I only get pimples on my forehead and chin but they never seem to go away. I have sensative skin and things like retin-a make my skin burn flake and bleed. Nothing seems to work for me so I was wondering if you all could tell me what works for you and also what type of skin you have. thanks :)

I had really bad skin from the ages of 12-16. I’m 17 now and it still gets bad from time to time but it has really improved so I guess time is the best healer.

I have combination type skin and it does tend to be quite sensitive. I don’t know if you have a boots near where you are but I use this seaweed scrub facewash which is all natural and makes your skin lovely. I remove my make up every night. I wash my face every morning and evening and after moisturise with Garnier Pure A Moisture Cream. There’s one for day which is meant to be a good base for make up and then one for night time. It contains Salicylic Acid and Zinc which sounds quite harsh but works for me.

Another possible solution that I’ve never done but always meant to is going to the doctors and see what they can recommend for you. Many of my friends have done this and come out with good results.

Good luck :)

I have the same problem.. every face wash makes my skin really dry (and I have tried almost all of them) The only ones that really work for me are Noxzema and the Neutrogena Wave. Noxzema is only a few dollars and you get a big jar. I want to try the Neutrogena Skin Id, but haven’t gotten around to doing it yet lol

try tee tree oil! it is all natural and hopefully it wouldn’t sting like chemicals. good luck!
