What do you do when you suspect your child of smoking Ibuprofen?

I think the wisest course of action would be to… laugh? Smoking ibuprofen would do absolutely nothing to get your daughter high, but it would (according to anecdotal evidence) cause blinding headaches and vomiting.

Its probably just to ‘be cool’. Once she realizes that it actually does nothing in the form of getting high or anything, and shes up at 1:00 in the morning with a blinding headache and vomiting since 9:00, she will see what shes been doing. she will probably be embarrassed. But the moment she realizes it, you need to be there because she might try and replace it with something else (not her fault it will be subconscious). This other thing could be bad, like other drugs, or harmless like watching her favorite movie over and over. Just something that can replace her ‘pastime’. You need to be the one who influences her (with something good) as opposed to her being with her friends when she realizes and then replacing it with something worse. if I’m making sense?

Okayy… Im your daughters age and im speaking from a teens point of view… I have NEVER heard of this… I dont think it will do anything for her… I think she is doing this for attention… How did you find out? And try to spend more time with her… get interested in her life… BE NOSEY!!! Us teenagers need checked up on… my friends would kill me if they seen what im writing but im serious if you dont want to invade your kids privacy then you will have to deal with the stupid shit they do… I DO NOT believe your teenage kid should have privacy they will screw you over as soon as the chance comes TRUST ME!!!
