What do I do my hamster is gonna die??

I have a syrian hamster that is a year and about 3 months old. All she does is sleep she dosnt run on her wheel ever she is weak and her tail is a little runny but not like wet tail… What do I do its been like a week I dont no do I call a vet which vet???

If he’s sick…call ANY Vet. If the one you call doesn’t handle hamsters, he may well know which Vet does.

Maybe it’s just your hamsters turn to pass away. I’ve had 3 hamsters and I know it’s really upsetting when they get old but you have to move on when he/she does die. Maybe get another hamster to help with grieving?

I’d say… take loads of pics with your hamster while it’s still alive for memory times :)

My hamster is like that he hasn’t been on his weel in about 6 months lol.. when he’s not sleeping he just wanders around the cage looking lost lol… I think its normal for syrian hamsters to be like that … im not sure about the tail thing tough… I would ask the petsop for advice rather than the vet if I was you… Xo:)

Well she’s quite old for a hamster … maybe she just prefers to rest a lot . I bet she comes out for food and water in the middle of the night you just don’t notice…thats all she really needs… bring her to a local petshop and see what they say … She could be on the way out :( poor thing… Xo:)

But all he dows is sleep all day all night. he never wakes up hes alive but…
