He probably just wants time to think about because he may be confused about the whole situation. And his band might need to practice because they may have a gig coming up or a new song. well maybe since you guys werent together he started missing you a lot like you get really confused and he wanted to b wit you again like he said but den later maybe he thought and he said well since shes not sure maybe it is better to b friends you know so hes probably just confused and you are to because you told him you werent ready and now it seems like you want him back because he just wants to b friends now you want to make it work lol people are confusing sorry if im not much help

Well I think it means that he needs to work out some stuff..and he needs a friend to help him. And what’s a better friend than his ex.. I say it’s always good to have your exs as friends… I still wish I had mine as friends…your lucky
