If you are having problems or are depressed, below are a couple of sites that may help you:

Worldwide:

Check out the Befrienders link below. They are not only a suicide hotline but also offer help to people who are stressed or are in a state of depression.

http://www.befrienders.org/support/helplines.asp

In the U.S.A., you also have access to:

Girls and Boys Town National Hotline

Call With Any Problem, Any Time

1-800-448-3000

http://www.girlsandboystown.org/hotline/index.asp

You can also take advantage of your ability to Fun Mail some of the Advisors on this site and use them as sounding boards to bounce some of your problems off of. There are even a couple of Advisors around 15 years of age http://www.funadvice.com/my/mrscobainx3 and http://www.funadvice.com/my/shaeluvspete

You can see a list of some of the Advisors by clicking on the Advisors link at the top of the page or when you are viewing answers to questions and see that yellow Advisor thing to the right of the answer’s name then you can click on their name and find out more information about them.

If you find an Advisor whose advice you like, then try Fun Mailing them.

Is getting therapy an option?

Try this website, you can email them for help… http://www.befrienders.org/

Like Katwoman said, remember that everything will eventually be ok. This is one of the worst aspects of depression, you dont think it will end… and that makes everything 100 times worse… BUT you need to remember, nothing lasts forever, including how you’re feeling…

I’m 54 and have struggled with depression all my life. I know what it’s like.

Do you live alone? Is there anyone close that you can talk to? My son, who is 38, helps me by talking to me. My depression usually passes after just a short time. You don’t always have to have a reason to be depressed and that kinda makes it worse.

I think that, if we have a reason for being depressed, it’s easier to deal with, but if there is no reason, we start to go into a panic mode.

Just remember that it will pass and that everything is going to be ok even though it doesn’t seem like it at the time.

Also, do pursed breathing. You can go on google and get on a site that will show you how to do it. It gets Oxygen back into your system and it really does help.
