What are some good decorations for my party?

well first of all its a sweet sixteen (: im booking this event at a banquet hall and the theme is barbie (: im going to build a life size barbie box for me and my guests to take pictures in (: and I will have a scrapbook for people to write in for me (:

what I need

what type of invations should I give out? like should they be plain white cardstock or maybe I should go for something like a mini barbie with the details attached?
what type of decorations should I use for the room?
what type of cake should I get? like should it be eccentric or plain?
what are some good party songs everyone loves to dance to?

these wont technically answer your questions. but do the things that will be most memorable. “oh, ermember when she gave out barbies as invites?! instead of just a plain card. if you go all out. everyone will remember. the party will turn out good and whenver someone hears that you are having another party…double the people will show up!
