Wedding mayhem

Ok, so I am a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding, and I am helping her do planning… (oh man is this ever stressful) anyways we were wondering what things we should be planning first… I mean we already have invitations figured out and somewhat table seating, we know exactly who is going to be there, and we figured out where we are doing the pictures after the ceremony… We figured out that its going to be an open bar, and there is going to be catering, we already have a dj picked out, and a church to have the ceremony at… I guess all I really need… Is some ideas for center pieces.. Can someone please help!!! If you have any ideas feel free to fun-mail me or post your reply…

One of my friend’s just got married and another is getting married in december. One of them used potted plants as a center piece, the other is planning on using candles (like maybe floating candles?) This has pictures of what I’m talking about, and a few other ideas http://www.superweddings.com/decor/centerpieces1.html

see confetti.com - excellent website, it will give you and bride oads of ideas…and they have sooo much stock available…

I remember the stress of my wedding only too well, I said I wanted to get married in vagus by elvis, but hubby said he wanted a big ‘do’…ummm I don’t recall him sitting up till 3am making favours for 250 guests :(

however, true to british weather, it pee’d down and halied - you name it, but then thats what you get with a november wedding! good job I hd the cape!!

but, confetti is a great website…she will have a field day on there!! ;)

I really like the idea with the fruit… yeah her wedding isnt until september 26 next year… but it takes forever to plan.. anyways yeah.. I had this idea when her and the other bridesmaid and I went shopping, and I told her to do something that I can almost guarantee not many people have seen before… do like a vase with a siamese fighting fish in it(it would have to be red because thats the color she is doing) and have like some cork seperating the top from the bottom and have floating candles in it… what do you think?
