were the scottish vikings? , because my teacher was saying they decended from the Nords and settled in scotland. or something. anny advice?

some scots might be able to trace their lineage back to vikings. But vikings came from the scandanavian region and raided many parts of the UK not just scotland.

It is thought that vikings actually landed in america too, long before christopher columbus did
