I don’t know bt your dog is ugly lol sry bt its just the truth

Always start by getting basic shape and proportion. Once that is out of the way it’s easier to fill in the minor details, then finally the tone. It’s tempting to dive right in with full on detail, but that never works for any kind of drawing.

There are many good sites on the web, and books in the library if you’re stuck. Read them, study them, and practice, practice, practice!!

Answer #3

Start out by doing the imaginary triangle that the eyes and nose make. Then, the tooth is directly in line with the inside corner of kitty’s right eye. Once you draw the basic shape (lightly, of course) you can erase your trace marks bit by bit and shade as you go. Where the whiskers are, you may want to leave blank the individual downward curved lines- it’ll be cleaner looking than just erasing later on.

Answer #4

The only way to get better at drawing it to practice, practice practice.

If you really want your portrait to look amazing I’d suggest doing one as best you can then doing another and seeing if you can make it better.

Shading and blending. I find it better to start in the middle and work my way out.
