Trust between mum and dad

Right, I was gona get the train to manchester.. and I live like 300miles from there, so I tried getin on a train without mum and dad permison and becuase am only 14.. the train statsion got the police involded and the police rong my parent.. mum was in tears and everything :/ and I had said sorry loads times and shes like I can nver trust you agian and all thios shi*t.. so I asked dad if he would give me a lift there.. and him and mum are thinkin about it.. but how can I prove to my mum she can trust me again?

You broke their trust and put a big-time scare into them - it’s very disappointing to them that you wouldn’t come to them and discuss this, BEFORE taking action - it was irresponsible - now you have to start over to gain trust…Good luck !!

oo well I think the time will solve your proablem , from now on ask her permission on enything try to communicate with her tell her what you did everiday…

Dear katie_ere, Once trust is broken it is very difficult to rebuild. This goes for anyone in any type of relationship. Don’t expect her trust for a long time. How long? That will depend on your attitude and her level of tolerance. You must sit with her and work out some agreements on this. Like have her knowing where you are at all times, sticking with the house rules and going above what they expect of you and making a huge effort to show you can be trusted. It is going to take hard work on your part…and it should. Sue…good luck
