People that are severely warped can gravitate towards violent games and videos. Normal people can also like those games and videos. People who don't understand the difference between cause-and-effect on one hand, and simple association can get them mixed up. Example: Overweight women drink lots of diet sodas. Do diet sodas make women overweight? I'm just saying...
That's what I remember the news teams saying back when the shooting I mentioned happend. Of course the video game playing was not solely responsible for the actions of those 2 high school boys or any day to day violence, but it CERTAINLY PROMOTED THEIR ACTIONS, made it seem feasible . So my post was more then appropriate. I've spoken publicly with a survivor.
It may just instill the thought of killing, such as the game Doom that was a favorite game of the boys who committed the Columnbine shooting 10+ years ago.
I would say it's more their violent personalities that drew them to the games, myself. Not the games that made them more violent.
I don't think it's appropriate to blame video games for that. Video games don't make people kill people.
No, that's just a rumour about the Lavender Town theme and the fact that a lot of people find it creepy.
uhm you didnt really answer my question..
