How much trouble would I get in if I get caught driving to work with only a permit?

dont do it..because you might not bable to get a licsne till 18 if you were caught

Don’t risk it, have someone drive you to work so you can still get your license later. Like joejoeryan said, it could affect your chances of getting your drivers license and you don’t want that.

it seriously depends on luck lol i have friends that the cop told them just to go home and did nothing. another bud the cop took his permit and made him get out the car and call his parents to pick him up. i wouldnt dare.

My friend got his permit taken away, now he has to wait until he turns 17. I drive with my permit sometimes, when I have to, but I only do it from home to school and that’s less than a mile away. I guess im just going to have to wait 1 more month. It seems like an eternity.

it’s bad but truth is if your a good driver none. ok i’m 30ish and have been stopped by cops a total over 10 times only 2 was in the day and i was speeding really speeding but after midnight it more common to get pulled over since well cops are bored seriously bored. i have been pulled over for a number of re-tard reasons like veering to much to the left while making a left turn. crossing the center line twice in over 20 miles of road, having lights out.

If caught you can be banned from getting your license until you turn 21. My nephew decided to drive before he got his and he cant get a license until he is 25.
