Treatment to shingles

This is a hard one: Dad got shingles 5years ago in his eye and face and till today the nerve above his eyebrow gets irritated and his eye turn red whenever he is disturbed. any natural herbal remedy?

Shingles is caused by reactivation of the varicella zoster virus. It remains living in your nervous system for your whole life and there is no way to rid yourself of it.

There are drug treatments but they only shorten the duration of this reactivation. I do not know of any herbal remedy, and certainly there is no remedy which can sure it - because of there was we’d all know about it!!
