yes you can train a five year old dog. use food small squares of cheese or tinned hot dogs cut into small slices. make sure you speak clearly and never tell the dog off just reward him as soon as he does what you want. if he pulls on the lead just turn round and pull him the other way the turn round and set off again. it takes time but does work, also again use hod the lead right hand across in front of you and have food in left hand to encourage the dog stay beside you. most important thing KEEP EVERYTHING FUN you should both enjoy it!
Ya it can our dog was 6. And we taught her tricks like roll over and bark when you have to pee haha . But here is a suggestion if you keep a small bag of cherios not honey nut but the regular plain kind of cherios And when you tell him to do somthing and he does it give him a cherio That what we did to train our dog And it works and cherios are way cheeper than buying a 1000 treats LOL Hope that helped
Yes, same as a puppy, with rewards and being consistint with them. Make a good schudule. With eating and potting and keep training sessions short and a couple times a day.
