Am I too fat to go into modeling?

Am I too fat to model, according to agencies? I’m 5’5 and I’m 98lbs. Would that count to be too fat to model?

no. you are too skinny. Bones are NOT sexy. You probably look like a heroin addict (unless you are like 12 years old..in which case you have time to “fill OUT”) Who gives a crap about models, anyway? They all look sickly. You should weigh NO LESS than 115. Don’t you want to be healthy? Your BMI is 16. That is VERY unhealthy. Even at 115, your BMI is still on the skinny side.

Depends what kind of modelling you are thinking of doing. Being 5ft 5 you may well be a little bit short. Modelling agencies usually take on around 5ft 7 females. But your weight on the other hand is very healthy and is acceptable in a lot of agencies. However agencies nowadays take people of all shapes and sizes.. to promote different messages and different lines of clothing or images.

If an agency tells you you’re not thin enough, do not let it get you down, that is them being very small minded telling young females what their body is and isn’t right for… it’s your body, respect it, don’t let them get hold of the devil in you to make you thin and ill.

No,that’s fine for modeling. It’s a few pounds underweight actually. Don’t lose any more,If you make any change at all,gain weight.
