To move, or not to move? DESPERATE FOR HELP!!!

Ok so heres the deal… My dad works for the railroad and he might have to move 2000 miles away from where we live now for work. If he doesnt move, then he’ll just have to drive a lot to get to work and if he does then he get more seniority (I don’t know what that is but its really good for his job). I could tell that he was really upset about it and he wants to move but he doesnt want to take me away from my family and he said he isnt going to leave without me. Should I tell him I will move with him so he can be happy and do well in his job or should I not move so I can still see my family? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Answer #1

Well my sister and I have the same mom but different dads. Our mom died and her dad died so she lives with her step mom and half brother and half sister. Kabel, her half brother, is 6 and Elle, her half sister is 4, and I love them sooo much and really dont want to leave them. I also love my dad and we do fight sometimes but I know that he really wants to move and I know that he deserves the good rewards he would get in his job if he did move. So I really dont know what to do… whatever decision I make something bad is going to come of it!!!

You’ve got to step back, take an honest look at all factors, and make an informed decision…I wish you the best !!

Answer #3

You better go with your Dad afterall you can serve as a bridge between him and your family and you won’t be disappointed too.

Answer #4

Sounds like you are living with your dad but have other family close by. If this is the case then your other family can visit you but you should keep in mind that your farther is trying to provide for you the best way he sees fit to. Keep in mind that one day your father will leave this earth and you only live once so if making things better for his family is what he is trying to do then I say stay with dad and make it work.
