Is Timothy Hay the only hay Rabbits can eat?

Answer #1

No, rabbits just need to eat grass hay’s like bermuda grass and orchard grass along with the timothy. A key to finding the right kinds are to look for types that are green and fragrant and are well suited to your rabbit (they can be picky). I’d suggest mixing the grasses up a bit to promote healthy teeth and digestion for the rabbits with all the different bulk fiber. My aunt’s rabbit wouldn’t eat anything but softer grass hays, so that’s a possibility too.
