Who thinks the world will NOT end in 2012?

I dont think the world will come to an end in 2012 because then it would be too easy to just have worked this hard to get the world as advanced as it is to just destroy it…I dont think god is going to allow that to happen…definitely not now…maybe some other day of some other year way in the far future….(hopefully when i am too old to even care..) but not now!

…truly im not going to say it has anythign to do with god… because i dont necessarily believe in god… but i dont believe it will end in 2012, because the Mayans had to stop their calender at one point ya know? it cant just go on forever and ever. also people thought the world would end in 2000 didnt they? and im pretty darn sure we are still here… and we will be here in 2013 as well

i belive that the world will indeed end in 2012.,because the world has to end somtime soon..i think that this has happened again…and that we will have to begin a new society allllll over again..but who knows??…no1 knows so far…we hav the same chances of the world ending right now..=\

i dont think the world will end in 2012 because in the Bible it says no one knows the exact date but Him not even Jesus knows… for all we know it could end iin 2 mins… 10.20.300 yrs!! no one knows!!!

I understand the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, but that does not mean the world ends. I don’t think our current society has calendars printed into eternity. Also, are we to believe a race of people who have vanished?

yeah my thought is I want to die of old age not - huge disasters

well we cant control any of that my dear…weather it be old age or by some odd disaster when it is your time to go then nothing will stop it…try focusing more on the here & now rather then what will might or might not happen in years to come!
You are alive & well, you have a roof over your head with a warm bed to sleep in & shower to use when dirty, some food to eat when hungry & even a computer to use when bored…that is more then what many people have nowadays…with the way things are today no jobs, people loosing their homes & their loved ones for one reason or another…just be thankful for what you have now & thank someone for having it…your situation may be worse off…just enjoy the now & worry about tomorrow when you get to that bridge luv!

Maybe the Mayans figured that there would be someone else who could create the next solar calendar in the future.. So they didnt bother creating one. Just because there are no 2013 calendars available today doesnt mean 2013 wont happen.

I don’t think it is going to end. Just because a calender ends does not mean the end of the world.

The world will not end on 2012 it will be like a regular day, i believe the world will end after we all die and our sons and their sons, etc.

I don’t believe the world will end in 2012. In the Bible, it says the world will begin to end when every person on the Earth has heard the story of Jesus.

God said it would be like a thief in the night, meaning we won’t know when it’ll be, so, no I dnt think so

People have always tried to predict the end, but none but the Father knows when the end is. My brother did bring up an interesting point on how “Pres. Obama’s presidency ends in 2012…” ,so maybe, maybe not :)….all in all that’s just something we should leave in God’s hands and not worry over…

but you were not born when he came to this earth the first time (i believe becuase u r not 1500 or 2000 years old. )
