How to help a cranky and teething baby?

What are some good ways to help a cranky teething baby?

Answer #1

I have a younger brother who is 7 months, hes teething and he crys a lot! he calms down if we feed him cold foods like a fromage frais yoghurt. Also picking him up and walking him around helps. Try a dummy that should help calm them down. There is some bongela stuff which helps relieve the pain from the teeth. calpol can be just as good aswell. Hope this is usefull x

Answer #2

Try giving the baby some orajel. Don’t get all mad cause the baby is crying, that will just make it worse. oh, and after you give the orajel, play with the baby. (:

I had to do this with my nephew. ha.

I don’t think you should num the baby with cold things as an aunt I take care of my half sisters baby and she is teething so I give her one of those water toys for babies you know the ones that are toys and they are filled with water and she sucks on that and surring the night since she starts again I give her alitle medicine the doctor give or recommends for me to use.

Answer #4

yeah put a washcloth in the freezer a little bit or put some ice in a damp washcloth and massage the baby’s gums. then give him or her a little tylenol, later in the night you may have to give her a little more

Answer #5

distractsion! when my baby sister starts crying I just pick her up walk around the room (or outside is better) and say stuff like “where are all the birdies? can you find them” and look up. or in the kitchen “what shall we have for dinner today?” and open the cupboards or fridge. this nearly always works as she forgets about the pain. also cold food, calpol and bongela works too, like jessiikkaa01 said.
