Tattoo- Knuckles/ Lower Back/ Side Of Wrist ? x

Okay, at the moment I’m still underage for tattoos, but I’ve been wanting to get a few for years. For starters, I wanted to get a small MM. [For Marilyn Manson] on the side of my left hand, it would be pretty small, and near my wrist on the side my thumb is. Then I would love to get a star above my a*s/ lower back, possibly the words Swing Life Away. and slip knot across my knuckles. Can someone talk me through pain and where a possible better place to get the star would be? I’m not fussed on where it goes.., and I don’t care what it looks like when I’m like real old either, so please don’t.. So pretty much the MM one is the only one Im really decided on, and the SLIPKNOT one of my knuckles can probably wait till I go through some more major life events where it might interfere eg. wedding.. Sometimes needles scare me and I’ve only had my ears pierced 3 times, but I dont like faint or anything and can tolerate it. Thankyu.. x

People don’t realize that tattoos on butts are not well accepted, and the ink is usually rejected by your body. Keep it on your lower back and off of your butt.

Women tend to do better with the pain of back tattoos than mine. On the ribs hurts (I have a big back piece) and on your side REALLY freaking hurts. By your hips hurts too.

Remember that it is not A needle piercing you, but MULTIPLE needles. For instance, the outline of my tattoo was a seven needle, and the colouring is a 15 needle. By the way, colour hurts WAY WAY WAY more than black.

Start with the small tattoo first and see how you handle it. (Though I seriously do not recommend getting tattoos of bands or singers for obvious reasons, but it’s your body.)

Before getting any tattoo, take a while to think about it. Yes, they hurt, they take a while, etc. I got a simple armband a long time ago (and I thought about it for over three years) before finally getting it done. I’m still happy with it, I like the design, etc.

But if you get something like a band name….pretty soon, nobody will know (or care) what it is and you have to consider eventually, somebody else WILL be seeing it. Are they going to think about you differently if you have the name of a band or several artists tattooed on you?

Probably.
