how do you sweat out an infection??

or is that just an old wives tale??

Answer #1

It’s an old wives tale. Your body’s temp rises in order to kill the bacteria/virus (i.e. fever). Sweat often accompanies a fever. Of course it’s not the most effective way of dealing with infection, because brain is also fried with the fever. So, you go to the doctor if you have an infection.
