Since 1981, Dr. Butani has been a consulting pediatrician and neonatologist, looking after more than two generations of children. She has practiced in various prestigious hospitals in Delhi and has been affiliated with Max Multi Speciality Centre, Panchsheel Park since 2003, as well as being a visiting consultant at Max Smart Speciality Hospital, Saket.
