What are the summer months in Europe?

I am asking because I want to travel there for my honeymoon. Is it like Ecuador, that there winter is summer time here in Florida.

General rule of thumb is that daylight saving time begind late March and ends late October, of course this includes the start of spring and moves into the Autumn period toward the end.
