Stuck in a dead end job, should I pursue burlesque?

Stuck in a dead end job, should I pursue burlesque? Tastful, artistic and theatrical burlesque now. NOT a stripper.

It’s been something that keeps alluring me, with the likes of Dita von Teese, Dirty Martini and Michelle L’amour.

I’d like your opinions.

I think you should do whatever makes you happy…If you think your job is a dead end then move on and do what you have to do to further yourself in life :)

Answer #2

Burlesque is a legetimate art form. Don’t worry about some prudes being upset by it.

I remember how negative my parents and other people were when I worked as an art model in college. People can be so provincal.

Answer #3

I say if you can keep your morals and you feel this calling to you then go for it and be the best dancer? you can be. but if you feel yourself slipping into that which is not you then I don’t think you should.

Answer #4

Look around for a job you would love and go for it !! - they’re out there and you won’t have to compromise morals/values and be happy…I wish you every success !!

Answer #5

That seems undignified for your style. How about Lifehouse Everything Drama?

Answer #6

Go with your heart. If that is something you truly want to do then do it :)
