Are stretch marks on the lower tummy unattractive?

so im 37 weeks pregnant, and i didn’t get a stretch mark until like 2 weeks ago =[ i thought for sure i wasn’t going to get them..but apparently my baby had a huge growth spurt or something lol..and well i have them on my lower tummy..im so scared of what its going to look like after pregnancy..i’ve always loved my tummy..and have always been fit and toned really good..if i was to work my pregnancy weight off and get my flat toned muscular tummy back..will it still look bad with the stretch marks on it? im so depressed about having the stretch marks, its making me crazy LOL..

Answer #1

Yes.

Answer #2

More in depth, they’re not THAT unattractive. They also get better over time. If you really just got them, you’ll be fine later.

Answer #3

if they cant see it or if they don’t care about looks then no

Answer #4

To answer your question yes, they are scars and scars are unattractive…Longer answer, almost all women have or will get stretch marks. I’ve been covered in stretch marks since 13, from my breasts to about my calves. I’m not over weight, I just have VERY low elasticity in my skin. They do end up fading and don’t become as noticeable, you can try cocoa butter, and aloe and many other type of stretch mark removal cream’s and some may help, but most likely they will be there forever. Honestly though if someone has a problem with it then they don’t deserve to be around you……Best of luck :)

Answer #5

yeah i use creams and plan on getting trilastin after pregnancy..i mean mine seem to be fading already with the cream i am using..so maybe they wont be that bad..im just so scared where i am young still..lol..

Answer #6

No because I have them in my uper thy just don’t show them

Answer #7

stretch marks anywhere is unattractive, use coco butter, it makes them go away in 2 weeks. ( my mom used it after she gave birth)

Answer #8

I don’t really think it’s makes a difference- they’re exactly like scars, and I don’t have a problem with those (and neither does anyone I know, considering I have scars basically all over and they don’t care). Eventually they’ll turn white and fade anyway (see? Like scars :D) so who cares? :}
