How do I stop the caller's number from popping up on the television(read description)?

everytime someone calls my house the number and name pops up on my the t.v’s all through the house. It is really starting to get annoying because my dad puts the phone off the hook and it is really bothering me.. Is there anyway i can stop the poppiin up on my t.v. I have comcast btw.

I’m not really familiar with it but I think it comes with a program or package that came with the network. You might have to contact the actual network or company to cancel it. Also try options on your TV or Settings. Hope I heelped! Deverzz<3

I’m not sure about that exact cable but, if it is popping up on the tv then, there has to be a phone line hooked in to the back of the cable box… Just plug it! My caller ID pops up on my TV’s as well and I have Dish Network in order for it to work I have to have a phone line hooked in to it. Hope that helps!
