STOP NAGGING!! advice needed

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years. and we haven’t seen a lot of eachother due to his job. I ask him all the time to make an effort with me aswell as his job as I also work and make time for him. It got so bad at one point that I was contemplating ending the relationship. we’ve had a heart to heart about all this and he now understands how I feel. And he is starting to make more of an effort. But I know that it wont last very long as I haven’t heard from him until sunday now, I havent texted him as I really am fed up of nagging him to make an effort. What do you think I should do? should I carry on with my stuff and not text him until he texts me? I want to do something that will give him a MAJOR wakeup call, to make him see that we will not work if it keeps ending up like this. He is my first love and I do not want to lose him again because I know if we break up this time then it will most deff be the last :( please help me :( thank you guys x

give him an ultimatum. say to him, either make the effort or its over. if he really loves you then he’ll try. if he doesn’t seem to improve then maybe it shows that he doesn’t care enough about you to make an effort and you deserve someone better than that!

Find out a day when he is not working and just show up at his house so then you to can talk face to face. That’s the best thing I can think of.
