Speeding ticket question

Ok I got a reckless driving ticket the other day. The cop handed me the ticket showing a court date. At the bottom of the ticket there is a place where the diver needs to sign saying he understands that he needs to show up in court? I was not asked to sign this. Is this a loophole in a sense? Whats to say I got pulled over?

And he would have called in your driver’s license number at the time And when two stories conflict, the judge will give more weight to the more disinterested party - the cop (who would loose his job and go to jail if he lied) or you (who would maybe loose your job and go to jail if you tell the truth).

Don’t try a bonehead move like that. You will get burned. At least talk to a lawyer if you really think you have to try that stunt. And Good Luck!!
