What can I do if somebody else (I don't know who) is using my social security number?

im trying to get a service but when they told me to verify my info thy told me that my social links to anoher person, what does that mean? is somebody elsee usng my social? if yea what can i do?

If someone else is using your social security number it’s very bad. Call the police so they can track down whoever it is and arrest them or do whatever they need to do. You really should call the authorities as soon as possible before it gets really bad.

Whoa sounds like identity theft so you better do something quickly. Not sure were to proceed, but calling the social security offices which I’m sure they have a help department so you can call to get helpful answers and directions.

If someone has stolen your ss @ you do need to contact the SS Administration. If you are filing taxes, have bank accounts, or credit cards all need to be notified. Rather then going into great length posting. Here is the government site on what to do.
