Do you think it's a smart idea to get another credit card if my first credit card is still maxed out?

But you have a direct debit going onto that account?

Answer #1

No. That is the sort of behaviour that drove the world into recession. Broadly speaking you should not spend money before you have earned the money.

Answer #2

obviously not, since you obviosuly dont have the money to pay it back on time, you’ll just be digging yourself deeper into debt, which is never a smart thing to do

Answer #3

Depends on the use. It is not wife to have many credit cards if you rarely use them, you will only have to pay for nothing. But if you like to travel to other countries, having two or more different CC is still acceptable since not every county accept the card from the same company. well, just in case :-)

Answer #4

*wise

Answer #5

Nope - It’s a good idea to get rid of your debts. And then save money and only buy what you can afford without a credit.

If you start on shifting your debts from one credit card to another you might completely lose control over your credits. As soon as you pay interest rates higher than your loan, your soul is lost to the banksters forever. panic

Answer #6

No, I do not think its a good idea at all. All you are going to do is put yourself in further debt. Work on getting the first card paid off, instead of working on filling up another.

Answer #7

If you have a credit card that is maxed out to the point where u need to have direct debit going into it in order to pay it off then I don’t think it is a smart idea to have any credit card at all.
