How well does Sleepy Time tea work; has anyone tried it?

i was doing some research on ways to get to sleep faster and such and came across this sleepy time tea. does it make you relax and become lethargic like its said in the description?

Answer #1

it doesnt work well for me but it puts my little sister out pretty fast along with my 3 year old niece

Answer #2

but does it like calm you personally? i just need something to get me calm for the night, i have a horrible habit of trying to stuff that i should’ve during the day at night and i think i should get to bed sooner than 1 a.m

Answer #3

well if its able to put people to sleep im sure it can calm you down enough

Answer #4

Though I haven’t tried that kind of tea, I do personally find tea relaxing in general. That being said, though, it really depends on what you did that is causing you to not be able to sleep right now. As an example, if you’ve had a lot of caffeine tonight, chances are that the tea isn’t going to be as effective on you.

If you have trouble sleeping at night, you really have to try breaking those bad habits that cause you to be awake so long. In the end, that is the best method of getting to sleep.

Answer #6

no i sleep fine and i sleep 8-10 hours a night. i just need something to mellow me out, that and i am trying to create good habits for myself such as getting to bed earlier so i wake up earlier to start my day, drinking more water, healthier meals just to feel generally better.

I have used a couple “Speepy Time” teas and most helped me relax. I usually don’t have trouble getting to sleep, but some days I’m just too wound up or have too much on my mind, and the tea helps some.

Answer #16

oh ok i didn’t no that but i’ll have to check it out. thanks =)

Answer #17

thats exactly my problem, has nothing to do with the caffiene i had during the day sometimes ppl need a little help after a stressful or action filling day haha

Answer #18

Yah that little extra to help relax at night. I have some made by Stash I think that works pretty good. Sometimes I will use one of those and one of the “Mint Medley” together and thats pretty tasty and helps settle a stomach if your worried, stress, or my latest attempt at bachelor cooking didn’t turn out well. :P

Answer #20

The brand for both of them is Bigelow

Answer #21
