Go to the neighborhood you are about to use. The enter this cheat boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true Then click create family and before you start to make your first sim click shift and n. Then a message should pop up. There ya have it!! Hope this helps!

There are no cheats for custom skins and hair, you have to download them from websites. Like thesims2.com for example. YOu have to make an account on teh website and then download from the exchange.
