Sims 2 cheat box?

On the sims 2 I have been playing it fine for over a year and when I tried it yesterday the ctrl shift and c cheat box wont show up in the neighborhood . Any advice? X ta

it doesn’t show in the neighborhood, it shows when you’ve already chosen a family to play with (I think) that’s what I remember…
