What is the significance of piercing your ear at the top left or right?

Nothing it’s just a preference and a style. The only piercing that supposedly has meaning is the lobes for guys I believe.

Nothing for me, I have my top right done just because I wanted it done. Same as I just wanted my lobes done.

i have the top of my left ear pierced, and it doesnt really mean anything:) looks pretty though.
