Should I go to my work Christmas party?

My work Christmas party is on this weekend and embarassingly I have no date to bring with me. I have just realised that I will be the ONLY dateless person there. How can I show up by myself? I will look like such a loser. I organised the whole event so people will expect me to go…I don’t know if I want to though. Should I go or just stay at home?

Answer #1

GO! I’m sure you’re not going to be the ONLY dateless person there. & oh well if you are. Just talk and enjoy your friends. This may be kind of sucky, but that’s what I’d do. Good luck. :D

Answer #2

Hey Christmas party is not a prom that you need to bring a date hehehe is all about celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ so attend your party for Him so that you will feel the spirit of Christmas. -_+ \m/

Answer #3

Well first of all, I’m sure there is someone else who is just bringing a friend, or a first date that won’t even work out! Secondly, do you have a friend who will go with you just so you aren’t alone?

Answer #4

If I were you I would go and show that you are comfortable being single. you might even have a few people envious in the crowd. Most likely though there will be one or two people that will have there dates cancel out, so chances are you wont be the only one with out a date there. Go have some fun!! Sure being singles not the greatest in the world, but your coworkers wont think anything of it if you present yourself positively there.
