yes I told her that I wanted to be able to put a ponytail in but still trim his hair(check) that I wanted her to trim his feet(check) and cut his body(uncheck)

but she did say… “so you want a puppy cut?” and I said yes… what does that mean?

Answer #2

Did you say anything while you were there?? Maybe his hair is still short enough to be considered a “puppy cut”…but if you wanted him short, you need to tell them…I just hate having to take my dog to the groomers…and you can double that when it’s a new groomer…

Basically a puppy cut on any “groomed” dog, is their feet, their face, with the body trimmed to all one length…I’m sure there are small detail differences, like between a poodle and Shih tzu or a Westie pup, but basically it’s the same.

Next time, if you go to the same groomer, you’ll have to have her explain what that means to her…and then tell her what a puppy cut means to you, and demand that it’s done YOUR way…you’re the one paying, and the customer is always right…

Sorry about the bad doo…
